Grande Chaloupe viaduct


Located in Réunion, it represents a link in the New Coastal Road built between Saint-Denis and La Possession. The Grande Chaloupe viaduct is 239 metres long and 29 metres wide. It is a prestressed concrete structure whose supports are located in the ocean, with the abutments set on piles and the piers on shallow footings.

Highlight: Construction of a viaduct over the ocean, with a prestressed single-beam deck built by successive cantilevers with a form traveller.
