Saint-Paul viaduct and cut-and-cover tunnel


This 756-metre structure elevates the Route des Tamarins motorway on the island of Réunion up to the plain overlooking the city of Saint-Paul.
Width: 26.7 metres, total length: 756 metres, deck thickness: 4.55 metres.

Highlight: A complex worksite, subject to multiple environmental, urban, historical, logistical and geological constraints. A double-curvature structure with a very steep longitudinal gradient of 6% and superelevation: - 3.8% -- + 2.5%.
