Renovation and reinforcement of the Maputo International Airport

After an initial project in Mali in 2012, Razel was awarded a second airport roadway project in Africa.

The work involves reinforcing the existing runways and taxiways by installing an additional thickness of asphalt after levelling. At the same time, the teams will produce 30,000 m2 of concrete slabs for aircraft parking, construct a new fuelling system and work on the airport's ground lighting system.

Highlight: Project in synergy with the Fayat group. Stock of Bomag (finishers and compacters) and Ermont (asphalting) machines. Satelec intervenes on the electrical work. During the work, airport traffic will not be interrupted, which results in having to comply with very restrictive work phasing.

Contracting authority: Aeroportos de Moçambique
