Sipopo car park

EQUATORIAL GUINEA

In the run-up to the summit of the African Union in June 2011, the President of Equatorial Guinea launched an ambitious programme of works in Sipopo, and seaside area close to Malabo. The large-scale project included the construction of an artificial harbour, a conference centre, a 5-star hotel with a golf course and accommodation for heads of state. RAZEL-BEC conducted the drainage work and constructed the roads and a large 100-space car park over 5 hectares.

Highlight: The teams at Razel Equatorial Guinea successfully complete the project in a mere 4 months (design and build) while contending with difficult seatransport supply logistics.

Contracting authority: Equatorial Guinean government
Project management: GE PROJECTOS
