Partnership contract for Lyon's North Ring Road

The 10 km of Lyon's north ring road (BPNL) will be managed by Leonor, comprised of the Fayat - Sanef group and the Banques Caisses d'Epargne, Crédit Foncier and Crédit Mutuel consortium for a 20-year period.
Selected as part of a public-private partnership contract, the group will excavate the 13 additional emergency exits (inter-tube tunnels in the alluvial deposits under the water table), provide PRM (Persons of Reduced Mobility) access for all emergency exits and improve the smoke ejection system and fire protection.

Highlight: Maintaining traffic throughout the 28 months of work. Using compressed air confinement during the traditional mechanical excavation on some branches.

Contracting authority: Grand Lyon
Project management: Design consortium of Lombardi - Artélia - Ferrand Sigal architects
